Proterra Rides into the Upstate
There's been a lot of news circulating about large companies, especially those in the transportation and technology industries, coming to the Upstate. One of these is Proterra, Inc., which announced back in February that it will build its next research and manufacturing facility at the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research (CU-ICAR) in Greenville.
When construction on the Proterra site starts later this year, Greenville, the Upstate and South Carolina as a whole will welcome a new partner in a growing market of environmentally-friendly technologies. Over the next seven years, it's expected Proterra will invest $68 million and create more than 1,300 jobs in our community.

Home Buyer Tax Credit Ends,
Opportunity Doesn't

If you missed the deadline or are unsure if now is the right time to buy a home, rest assured. There are plenty of great reasons and opportunities to make a move in 2010.

Next Generation: ListHub
Agents and home sellers alike often ask, "Where will my home be listed online?"
To answer this question, Coldwell Banker Caine uses ListHub, a program designed to streamline the online listing distribution process, so you know exactly which websites your house will be shown.
ListHub takes an MLS listing of a property for sale and posts it on the most popular online real estate sites. Rather than adding listings individually on Google Maps, Trulia, Zillow, Yahoo! Real Estate and others, ListHub does all of the work in one easy step.
ListHub saves agents time and spares them the frustrations of posting listings one at a time, and assures Coldwell Banker Caine sellers their home is receiving maximum online visibility. It's just one more way our firm is working to better serve our agents and clients.
